The moving map provides situational awareness, displays special
use airspace (SUA) boundaries and provides SUA alerting. The KLN
35A presents this information via an advanced double super twist
nematic LCD. You have a choice of North American or International
data base. This GPS/comm takes cockpit efficiency one step further by using
communications with navigational features and functions. Built-in
moving map display to show airports, navaids and special use airspace

up a variety of information. KLN 89B Similar to KLN 89 but approved for IFR flight under TSO C-129,
Class A1, which allows for en route, terminal, and non-precision

requirement for database updates: Most IBM-compatible personal
computers containing a 3.5 floppy disk drive capable of reading
1.44 mb diskettes and having an RS-232 serial port The KLN 90B has the unique 3-inch split screen CRT display. The
built-in moving map graphics shows nearby airports and navaids.
(North American database can be updated by user via cartridge
replacement or personal computer. International data base can
be updated by user via personal computer.) Capable of tracking up to eight satellites at a time, has world

KLN 94
Color GPS American DB
Bendix/King KLN 94 color GPS navigator/moving map display is a
panel mounted IFR (C-129A) certified unit. Designed to be a direct
replacement for the KLN 89B, the KLN 94 will let you upgrade to
color while maintaining your panel's integrity. The KLN 94 features
an enhanced version of the easy-to-use operating system found
in the KLN 89B. The comprehensive aeronautical database includes
airports, VOR's, NDB's, intersections and special use airspace.
The supplemental cartographic database includes rivers, roads,
lakes, cities, railroad tracks, boundaries and towers to enhance
situational awareness. Other KLN 94 features include "vector to
final" approach capability, a dedicated "Range" and "Map" menu
button for map access, tailoring and roll steering. The dedicated
"Procedures" button simplifies loading of approaches (including
ILS approaches). The Quick-Tune feature automatically loads frequencies
into the KX 155A NAV/COMM. Self-contained annunciators reduce
the installation cost of the KLN 94
