Aircom Avionics has serviced aircraft in Alaska since 1977, and our staff has over 80 years combined, technical experience.  We are an FAA approved Repair Station and a member of the Aircraft Electronics Association.  Aircom is equipped to service all types of aircraft, from single engine piston, to multi engine turbine. Our clean, heated hangar provides an excellent environment for us to service your avionics needs. Aircom sells and services most major brands of avionics, allowing us to showcase the latestest Avionics technologies available to you.  Our qualified technicians can install full radio packages, auto pilot systems, and perform your altimeter, transponder, static pressure system, and altitude reporting system IFR bienniel certifications.

 Garmin Update

Garmin announces simplified avionics Database Updates with the new flyGarmin app for your computer.  Pilots will now enjoy a streamlined experience that simplfies database updates and requires less time in front of the computer.  Additionally, Jeppesen JeppView MFD subscribers (using a Garmin ChartView enabled product) can now download Jeppesen charts alonside other databases purchased from Garmin, which offers customers a single location to manage database updates and downloads.

Aircraft owners, pilots and operators begin with to identify their products and purchase databases a la carte or in convenient, money saving bundles called PilotPaks.  Then you'll simply download the flyGarmin app, and once the app is downloaded, the database easily transfers from the PC to the Garmin device or memory card.

The flyGarmin app is available for Windows, with Mac availability expected in 2016.  To take advantage of this new, streamlined database update method visit:
